Trouble at mill

I can attest that the film Captain Underpants is good, "safe" kid's viewing. Me an' the girls went to see it recently, a splendid time was had. Questions were raised as to whether or not cinemas have a limited future. Are they dying out nowadays? I think they're one of the more future proof high street enterprises?

I sound like I'm teeing up a talkshow. Old habits.

Anyway, it's a good film. Sophisticated in its humour but at no point too adult. Clever themes and subtexts. The empty life of the teacher, the motivations behind the villain. Visually good as well.

Were this to be a review in a magazine it'd say, 4 stars.
